Easy summer treats – Healthy Fruit Popsicles
We all crave the icy treats that circulate during summer time, but not the extra calories that generally go along with these yummy treats.
It is at this time of year that everyone wants to strut their stuff at the beach so it is very unlikely that you would choose to over indulge in the icy treats when you have Christmas dinner and all the goodie goodie gumdrops that come along with this holiday. So we suggest these amazing healthy fruit popsicles that tremendously differ in calorie intake but don’t lack in the taste factor. Remember the fruits used in this video are just some of the fruits that we relate to summer, but you are welcome to use any fruits that you have at your disposal, just make sure to use a binder (for example the liquefied watermelon served as a binder in this example).
This summer treat can also be a great healthy snack for the kids. Especially if you don’t want them bouncing around on the overly artificial sweetened treats that circulate around Christmas time.
