New Year Resolutions that save you…

Are you one of those people that make New Year resolutions only to find 3 months into the year – you’ve misplaced the list and all you can remember is that you wanted 2015 to be a year of saving? We at GoRhino are fond of making resolutions but we make it a point to design resolutions that are attainable and realistic, the trick is to attach a goal and timeline to the resolutions. This way we are able to assess ourselves at the appointed time and if we have not reached our desired point then it obviously wasn’t as important to us as we thought it to be.

Now getting back to one of the most popular resolutions, SAVING! Everyone always wants to save more at the beginning of the year; they aim to be in a better financial position than they were in the previous year. However, with the rise in almost all products and services coupled with the cost of living in general, it becomes difficult to stick to the desired art (if that’s what you call it) of SAVING if you are not stringent with your responsibilities and when you have a thriving social life. We donate a portion of the money that we receive from our loyalty cards to Project Rhino KZN and it can definitely be said that we are at our happiest when we hear the great work that Project Rhino KZN is able to do with the support and funding.

With all that being said, we want to encourage your 2015 to be one that it is filled with accomplishments when it comes to achieving your resolutions. If there is one piece of advice we can attest to, it definitely is that of saving. That old saying of preparing for a rainy day is actually partial to the bigger picture; you should find it in you to save regardless of your days. Save for your future and save for your children because the truth is: everything revolves around money today. Make an informed decision about your resolutions because following the important ones through will definitely pay off (pun intended)…
